TransEnd has been recognised with The Diana Award this year! And while celebrations are in order, we firmly believe that it is equally important to remember how transphobia first began to take root in South Asia, including Bangladesh. As we are grateful for all help we receive along the way in our journey towards achieving trans liberation, we also remember and demand accountability for queerphobic and transphobic colonial legacies because of which we are in such hostile conditions in the first place.
